Study of Religious knowledge and interpret more specifically, the need for change in the humanities from Islamic perspective some while raised arguments in the country. But why this controversy raised in the society today and why we are dispute so severe? With a macro look to this conflict it can be received that as many other social discussions, the issue is not summarized as disagreements and differences in the primitives, But more importantly, misunderstandings occurred between the parties, That sometimes partially closing the view of some religious knowledge advocates and some of its adversaries, much more than those who use this term. One way to mitigate this misunderstanding is a detailed study of the historical roots and the epistemic classification among those who have taken a stand against the issue, to appear why this issue has been raised in the society in terms of epistemic requirements and free from political discussions, And what is the basic argument of those who speak in favor or against it, and how this viewpoints are close or far away from each other.
In present article with a brief overview of the new knowledge and its position in the West and entering it into the Islamic countries, Intellectual development are reviewed which are the emergence fact of the concept of religious knowledge in Muslim societies in general and in Iran in particular. In following based on the epistemic stance of views have opposed toward religious knowledge, we will classify the common views of this subject in Iran. Then with explaining the required principles on knowledge and religion studies, we will attempt to draw reasonable and adequate image in defense of religious knowledge and huge strategies that we can provide toward the evolution of such sciences.
